This Delivery Policy explains how orders placed with ProtectDepot UK, operated by Osprey Solent Group Ltd, are processed, dispatched and delivered.
This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Some products may not be available for delivery to all locations. Delivery restrictions may apply to certain items because of size, weight, supplier restrictions, courier limitations, hazardous classification, manufacturer rules or legal requirements.
Additional charges or longer delivery times may apply for remote or offshore locations, including but not limited to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and other non-mainland UK addresses.
Delivery charges will be shown at checkout before you place your order.
Charges may vary depending on:
We reserve the right to contact you after an order is placed if an additional delivery charge applies because of location, product type or courier restrictions. If you do not wish to proceed with the revised delivery charge, you may cancel the affected item and receive a refund for it.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree this in writing.
Delivery times may vary depending on stock availability, supplier lead times, courier performance, product type and delivery location.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, supplier delays, weather, strikes, traffic disruption, customs or border delays, cyber incidents, system outages, incorrect delivery information or failed delivery attempts.
Orders are usually processed during normal business hours, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
Orders placed after the relevant cut-off time may be processed on the next working day.
Some products may be dispatched directly from third-party suppliers, manufacturers or fulfilment partners. Where this applies, delivery times and tracking information may vary.
Your order may be delivered in more than one parcel or from more than one location.
This may happen where products are supplied by different warehouses, manufacturers, suppliers or fulfilment partners.
You will not usually be charged additional delivery fees for split deliveries unless this is made clear before you place the order or agreed separately with you.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
We are not responsible for failed, delayed or misdirected deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
If an order is returned to us because the address was incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible, we may charge you for redelivery, return carriage, storage or administration costs.
You are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to accept delivery where a signature, handover or secure receipt is required.
If the courier leaves the goods in a safe place, with a neighbour, reception, goods-in area, concierge or other person at the delivery address, delivery may be treated as completed.
If you give delivery instructions to a courier or ask for goods to be left without signature, you do so at your own risk.
If delivery cannot be completed because you are unavailable, refuse delivery, provide incorrect details, fail to collect the parcel, or do not respond to courier instructions, we may charge you for:
If goods are returned to us after failed delivery, we may cancel the order and refund the product price, less any delivery, return, storage or reasonable administration costs, where permitted by law.
You should inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If goods arrive damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us promptly and provide:
Business customers must notify us of damaged, missing or incorrect goods within 48 hours of delivery where reasonably possible. Failure to do so may affect our ability to investigate the matter with the courier, supplier or manufacturer.
Consumers should notify us as soon as possible, but this does not affect statutory rights.
If you believe your parcel has been lost, please contact us so that we can investigate with the courier or supplier.
We may need to allow the courier a reasonable period to investigate before issuing a replacement or refund.
We are not responsible for loss where goods have been delivered to the address provided, signed for, photographed as delivered, or left in accordance with your delivery instructions.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Some products may require pallet delivery, kerbside delivery, specialist handling or additional access arrangements.
Where this applies, you are responsible for ensuring that:
Unless expressly agreed in writing, delivery does not include unpacking, installation, positioning, assembly, commissioning, waste removal or movement of goods beyond the delivery point.
Some products may be subject to delivery restrictions because of their nature, classification, storage requirements or transport regulations.
We may refuse, delay or cancel delivery of restricted goods where necessary to comply with legal, courier, supplier or safety requirements.
You are responsible for ensuring that you can lawfully receive, store and use any restricted or regulated goods ordered from us.
If delivery is delayed, we will try to keep you informed where possible.
For consumer orders, if we are unable to deliver within the agreed timeframe, or within the legal default timeframe where no timeframe was agreed, you may have rights to cancel the order in accordance with applicable consumer law.
For business customers, delivery dates are estimates only unless expressly agreed in writing as guaranteed. We are not liable for business losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, project delay, labour costs or consequential loss arising from delivery delays.
For consumers, risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you.
For business customers, risk passes when goods are delivered to the delivery address, collected by you, or handed to your nominated carrier.
Ownership of goods passes only once payment has been received in full.
Unless expressly stated on the website or agreed in writing, we do not offer international delivery.
Where international delivery is agreed, you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs charges, compliance requirements, documentation and local laws applicable in the destination country.
